4. the best thing that has happened to me this week

probably being accepted at my job? like socially accepted. i felt really stupid and uncomfortable on monday and today it was really great to like connect with people. like, people close to my age. one co-worker asked me to lunch and another invited me to happy hour. it sounds really stupid but it makes me feel like this job is going to be a great thing for me this summer.

11. would i rather be stranded on a desert island with someone i love for ten years or someone i hate for a month? explain why.

i think someone i hate. because i can’t love someone for an extended period of time. at least romantically. there’s a better chance of me learning to like someone i hate over the course of a month than continuing to love someone for ten years right now. maybe that’ll change in the future. also, when you love someone, you want to spend time with them. and i really thrive on having alone time sometimes. like, i would go insane without it. i realize i’d already be stranded on a desert island, but if i was just spending a shit ton of time with someone i love on a little tiny island for 10 years i would just die. and that sounds so horrible but whatever.

14. something i do without realizing

sometimes i catch myself looking at my reflection for the thousandth time in a row in one day and get really embarrassed. then when i catch it i start freaking out wondering if people notice that i do it so much. this isn’t just like in mirrors though. i’ll do it in like picture frames and car windows and standing water. it’s an issue.

um, i practice making faces in the mirror. like posing for pictures. or sometimes i see how i look singing something… yeah. also a lot of my song-writing process is done in my head when i’m away from a piano but sometimes i’ll just randomly sing part of a line to see if it sounds pretty or poetic.

i sass people a lot. it’s like an instinct. it’s okay when i’m with my friends because they know that i just automatically go into sass attack mode but strangers will sometimes be like “oh my god why are you so aggressive?” and i don’t really realize i do it until then… not that i’m apologizing.

24. someone i’d like to be for a day and why

i hate pretty much everyone. anyone that has talked to me for more than 5 seconds knows that. if i could be someone else for a day, it wouldn’t be someone i like. because i already probably know their deal pretty well. i’d like to be someone i abhor, probably. but most likely a celebrity i abhor like katy perry or lady gaga. just to see what it’s like to be a face and a name but not a person. i wonder if i would feel any different. like hollow or something? i don’t know. i’d just like to be someone whose life seems really interesting from afar because it probably is better to just be a normal person. but i don’t know. i’d also just be really curious to see if fame is as great as i think it would be.
